A CUSTOMER has complained to KFC after the word “f *****” was printed on his gravy order.
Alan Sinclair had ordered a takeaway and side dish for his children.
On the lid was a label showing “prep” and sell-by dates and times.
Someone wrote the gravy was “f *****” at 18.03pm.
Alan, 38, posted a photo of the lid on Facebook group Good or Bad Jersey Businesses after his trip to a St Helier branch.
One user quipped: “Glad your gravy had a good time.”
Another joked “Maybe that's what the F stands for in KFC.”
A third said “Now we know what The Colonel's secret recipe is. Heads will roll!”
KFC apologised for the fowl-language, saying: "We are re-training our team on the label machine. We'd love the guest to get in touch so we can make it up to them."
