The court heard how brothers Michal and Lukasz Herba bundled her into the back of a car before driving to an isolated farmhouse where she was kept for six days before being released.

Eyebrows were raised as to whether the incident was a publicity stunt after both men claimed she was in on the plot which saw a £ 230,000 ransom demand from a group called Black Death.

Last year a court in Milan jailed Birmingham-based Lukasz for 16 years.

Now his brother Michal has now been given the same sentence.

Michal, 38, was extradited from the Midlands after being arrested in a dawn raid by cops.

Chloe appeared via videolink at his trial.

She broke down in tears as she described how she was drugged, thrown in a duffel bag and then bundled into the back of the car after being jumped in Milan.

Chloe described how she even offered to have sex with her kidnappers in a bid to secure her freedom after being taken to an isolated farmhouse near Turin 100 miles away.

During her trial the court was shown a video of her holding hands with her kidnapper as they shopped for shoes and then went for a pizza.

JAILED

After the first trial she shot to fame in Celebrity Big Brother and was linked to footballer Jermaine Pennant with her Instagram followers rocketing.

Michal's lawyer Simone Zancabi told The Sun: "My client continues to protest his innocence and insists the kidnap was a idea which Chloe fully cooperated on.

"We will be taking the matter further and looking to appeal at the earliest stage."

Chloe is also being sued by her Italian lawyer Francesco Pesce who says he has still not been paid £ 10,000 for representing her at various hearings.

Both brothers, who moved to Oldbury, west Midlands from their native Poland, were ordered to pay Chloe £ 51,000 damages-although it's not clear how they will raise the cash.

DAMAGES

Michal's lawyer Simone Zancabi told The Sun: "We were very surprised by the Court's verdict given how the trial had highlighted all the fragility of the charges against Michal.

"The only explanation we gave ourselves is that the judges did not want to contradict Lucasz previous conviction in fact the whole trial against Michal was marked by the conviction against his brother.

"We await to read the motivation for the verdict (which will be filed in 90 days) to understand how the Court bypassed all the contradictions that have been proven regarding the prosecution's thesis of the abduction."

Speaking exclusively to the Sun after Lukasz was jailed in June 2018, Chloe said of her ordeal: "I'm so very happy this is all over.

"I am very pleased and relieved by the outcome of today's hearing and feel that justice has been served and I can get closure on what has been a terrible time for me.

'' I am desperate to put this ordeal behind me, move on with my life and forge a new path now that the world can see I was telling the truth. "
